Transfer students at »Ê¹Ú²©²ÊÍøÖ· are welcomed with their own orientation and programs to help streamline the transition to »Ê¹Ú²©²ÊÍøÖ·, including opportunities to make friends and get involved with groups and activities.

»Ê¹Ú²©²ÊÍøÖ· also has campus housing just for transfer students who want to live with other transfer students. They are designated floors of residence halls with transfer student mentors specifically trained to help transfer students navigate the college.

Phi Theta Kappa has recognized »Ê¹Ú²©²ÊÍøÖ· as being one of the most transfer-friendly schools in the nation.

PTK's 2024  recognizes excellence in the development and support of transfer pathways for community college students. It is a distinction given to only 150 colleges and universities, including four SUNYs.

Scholarships

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

»Ê¹Ú²©²ÊÍøÖ· is awarding all accepted Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society students with a $1,500 annual scholarship that is renewable for a second year. Applying for the scholarship separately is not necessary; transfer applicants will be reviewed for scholarship eligibility at the time of application.
