The Career Design Center is committed to offering a comprehensive array of programs and services that support career development for »Ê¹Ú²©²ÊÍøÖ· students and alumni, and employers looking for talent. Through our online job and internship-posting portal,  , students and alumni can search for job and internship opportunities, while employers can post internships and part-and full-time positions, as well as manage their on-campus recruiting involvement. 

Living-Learning Communities

Living-Learning Communities (LLCs) are unique housing opportunities where students with similar interests live in the same building. They each include an academic component and opportunities to connect academic learning to out-of-classroom experiences.

Research

»Ê¹Ú²©²ÊÍøÖ· offers a range of opportunities and support services for students interested in independent or mentored undergraduate research, and funding supported by the Office of Sponsored Research.

Student Ambassador Projects

»Ê¹Ú²©²ÊÍøÖ· Student Ambassador Awards provide up to $5,000 to support change-making, student-designed projects combining independent learning, innovative approaches to problem solving and community-based action. Projects can take place on campus, in the region, or even internationally: wherever you want to make an impact that matters to others. We welcome individual applications and applications from teams of students; students from all majors are encouraged to apply. 

Study Abroad & Away

Whether you are interested in short-term, semester- or a year-long program, studying abroad or away in the U.S. can connect you to interesting and varied opportunities around the world. The Study Abroad office provides resources, advice, support through the application process, pre-departure orientation, advice and assistance while overseas, and post-return support.

Complementing a rigorous academic program, »Ê¹Ú²©²ÊÍøÖ· offers a vibrant student and campus life environment. Find opportunities to get involved in award-winning  and community service programs, nationally competitive intercollegiate teams, and more than 200 student-led organizations.

Volunteerism & Community Engagement

The Office of Student Volunteerism and Community Engagement provides opportunities for student learning and development through civic and community programming and engagement. We support service and volunteerism across the campus, in the local community, in the Rochester / Buffalo region, and throughout the United States.
